When a multifamily project comes to development, our capabilities in land use and common-interest communities law enable us to effectively structure residential communities and pursue clients’ entitlement, public finance, and regulatory interests before local governments across Texas. Acquisitions and Dispositions
We guide clients through the entire purchase-and-sale process, from contract negotiation, through due diligence and title investigation, to closing and 1031 exchange.
We partner with developers to advance residential and commercial projects across the financing, acquisition, land use, construction, leasing, and disposition stages.
We help syndicators, deal leads, developers, and other clients raise capital by structuring and organizing investment funds (through PPMs and related documents), companies (including LLCs and series LLCs), joint ventures, TIC agreements, partnerships, and equity sales.
We assist owners, developers, and investors in structuring and closing financing arrangements involving mortgage, asset-based, development, and construction lending, CMBS debt, government-sponsored debt, federal tax credits, and state and local incentives. Our services include reviewing loan documents, fulfilling due diligence requirements, drafting opinion letters, and everything in between.
We represent landlords and tenants in negotiations of retail, office, industrial, healthcare and other commercial leases, including ground leases. Additionally, we provide comprehensive lease- and property-management services to landlords, including lease production, dispute mediation, distressed-lease negotiation, and lease enforcement.
