Jonathan Jaskot

Jonathan M. Jaskot earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance and Accounting) from Texas Christian University in 2007 and his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2012. He finished law school as a visiting student at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2012. Jonathan earned a pro bono award in law school for more than 100 hours of service in the public defender’s office and state attorney’s office. At Patel Law Group, Jonathan focuses his practice on Business and Real Estate Law.

Prior to joining Patel Law Group, Jonathan gained experience in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate Law, Mortgage Lending, Compliance and Title Insurance at Polunsky, Beitel and Green, LLP in Dallas, TX and worked on real estate matters, loan documents and business transactions for large banks, mortgage companies, credit unions and other financial institutions while also helping with compliance issues. Jonathan prepared trust reviews, ground leases, LLC companies and opinion letters for national financial institution underwriters. Prior to joining Polunsky, Beitel and Green LLP, Jonathan gained experience in title, survey and loan documents at Beadles, Newman and Lawler, PC in Fort Worth, TX as an associate real estate attorney. Jonathan created residential, commercial and title documents for various lenders, financial institutions and consumers.

Jonathan was born in Dallas, Texas and was raised in Atlanta, GA. Jonathan currently resides in Coppell, TX. In his personal time, Jonathan enjoys attending TCU football games, traveling and participating in the economic development of his community.
