Karla is the Legal Administrative Assistant for the Immigration team at PLG. Karla is a recent graduate of Auburn University in Montgomery, Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a focus on Legal Studies. Karla, as a DACA recipient herself, understands the importance of handling immigration matters timely and properly. Karla has previous experience in Criminal and Civil Law as a Legal Secretary and is constantly expanding her knowledge in all aspects of Immigration Law.

Employment-based Immigration

Karla has demonstrated professionalism with our clients in all aspects. She assists the Immigration Team in different phases of Employment-Based cases, such as H-1B, PERM, I-140 and I-485 filings.

Family-Based Immigration

Karla has demonstrated commitment while assisting our paralegals in handling Spousal and Parent Petitions, as well as Removal of Conditions and Adjustments of Status.
